How to Make Warm Cheesy Bean Dip

This dip is super easy to make. You can make it on the stove, in the microwave, or even the slow cooker. It starts with a can of refried beans. Next, you are going to add a jar of your favorite salsa, shredded cheddar cheese, and a can of jalapeno cheddar cheese dip. Cook until it is heated through and serve. It literally takes less than 10 minutes! I garnished the dip with a little dried parsley to make it fancy.

  • I used a jar of Mateo’s salsa in this dip. It is the BEST jarred salsa EVER. You can get it at Walmart and Costco. If you can’t find Mateo’s, just use a jar of your favorite salsa.
  • Here is our recipe for Homemade Salsa: https://www.plainchicken.com/superior-grill-salsa/
  • Feel free to add some cooked ground beef or ground turkey, sausage, onions, bell peppers, or jalapenos. This dip is like a trash dip.  If you like it, throw it in!
  • Is Cheesy Bean Dip Gluten-Free? Yes! This dip is gluten-free! Just make verify the refried beans are gluten-free. Look for Old El Paso and Rosarita brand.
