Chicken Lazone – ready in 15 minutes – no prep required! We made this 3 days in a row! Chicken seasoned with salt, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne then simmered in butter and heavy cream. Seriously THE BEST!!!

Pin This RecipeThis dish is SO delicious. I’ve had this recipe bookmarked for years, but I never got around to making it. I am kicking myself for not trying this sooner. It is SOOOOO GOOD! The best part of this dish is that it is incredibly simple to make. It requires not marinating or prep. Just sprinkle the seasoning on the chicken, cook and add cream. It takes about 15 minutes total. You can’t beat that! I like to serve this over angel hair pasta, but it would also be good with mashed potatoes. Next time we are going to try a combination of half chicken and half andouille sausage. I can’t wait!

Doing Lo Carb and making this tonight but over Zucchini "noodles" that I made with my new spiral slicer. Adding some mushrooms too- looks delicious!
Made this! Super yummy!!! I made it the regular way (by the recipe)..tried it first..was very good 🙂 Then, I noticed the bottle of Moscato in my fridge, so I added a little of that and squeezed in a fresh lemon. Yummy to my tummy!!!
**Just a note: I served this over garlic mashed potatoes and it really took away from the sauce. The sauce is so yummy by itself, I could just eat it with a spoon. I would recommend serving with just roasted potatoes on the side or over pasta.
Sounds amazing! So glad you enjoyed it!
I've made this three times now. So good. Thank you.
Made this tonight used light cream and added a bag of fresh spinach. Yum! Turned out great and served over the angel hair.
Great idea to sneak in some veggies! Glad you liked it.
Just made, still eating! Loved it and so did the family!!!
Wow! Just made this tonight for dinner. So simple to make and really delicious. Very flavorful sauce. I love how there was a hint of spicy "heat" in the background. Not overpowering at all. Yummy!
chili powder …. cream ….. I'm kicking you for not trying this one sooner. 🙂 Pinned.
I made this for dinner earlier this week and it was fabulous! And my coworkers were swarming at my leftovers.
Didn't get enough cream from store gonna try evampoated milk(powder) might help with thickening, also added fresh cherry tomatoes from garden and some fresh mushrooms, sauce tastes great can wait till it's done
Zandi – I left them in, but you can take them out and put them back in once the sauce has thickened.
so do i leave the chicken in the pan when it's done and add the cream/butter, or do you take it out before that step?
This looks so good. I'm trying to stay away from things like cream and butter, but I might have to make an exception with this one!
Use plain yogurt!
We made this with boneless/skinless chicken thighs and it was spectacular. (:
Yay!. I had thawed out some thighs and was wondering if it would be as good.

I made this last night and used evaporated milk in place of the cream and it didn't thicken like it should have. It was good but it looked nothing like the picture and I think we really missed out on the creaminess.
A little corn starch and water would have thickened it up for you.
Mountain Meme – you can use evaporated milk in place of the heavy cream. Enjoy!
thank you for this reply. I have evaporated milk in hand and didn't want to go to the store for heavy cream on a cold, rainy day. I plan to try this tonight for the first time.
