This Spring we made a quick trip to Seattle. We only spent two full days in Seattle, but we were able to pack a lot into those days. My favorite thing we did during our trip was a visit to the Chihuly Garden and Glass Gallery.
My first experience with Chihuly glass was in Las Vegas. I fell in love with the ceiling in the lobby at the Bellagio. The next time I stumbled upon Chihuly glass was on our tour at the Makers Mark Distillery in Kentucky. They have a ceiling full of beautiful Chihuly glass flowers.
While researching things to do in Seattle, I found the Chihuly Garden and Glass gallery. It was right next to the Space Needle, so I put it on our list.
O-M-G! You MUST put this on your bucket list. It was the most AMAZING art exhibit I’ve ever seen.
I am walking you through the gallery in this post. The photographs don’t do it justice. I could have spent the entire day here. So incredibly beautiful.
Don’t miss the opportunity for a selfie in a Chihuly glass ball with the Space Needle!
I oohed and aahed my way through the entire gallery. It was SO amazing!
It was the highlight of our Seattle trip.
DO NOT miss this when you go to Seattle!
You can purchase tickets ahead of time. We just bought them when we got there and didn’t have any issues. I would plan on at least a half a day to do the Space Needle and the Chihuly Garden and Glass. I’d love to come back at night next time!
