Chili Lime BBQ Grilled Chicken – only 5 ingredients in the marinade – olive oil, BBQ sauce, chili powder, lime juice and salt. Let the chicken marinate in the fridge for a few hours up to overnight. Throw some Bush’s Grillin’ Beans on the grill with the chicken and dinner is ready in about 15 minutes! SO good! Everyone cleaned their plates!! Making this again this weekend.
The weather is warmer and our grill is on overdrive! We grill year-round, but we grill three or four times a week during the summer. This recipe for Chili Lime BBQ Grilled Chicken is a new favorite. It is so simple and tastes fantastic! There are only 5 ingredients in the marinade – you probably have them in your house right now!
I get a lot of emails asking what side dishes to serve with all of our grilling recipes. Since I spend time making the meat, I don’t like to have to spend a lot of time on the sides. My favorite quick and easy side dish is Bush’s® Grillin’ Beans®. Yes, we use Bush’s Grillin’ Beans with everything, not just burgers and hotdogs. With Bush’s Grillin’ Beans you get a wide variety of beans simmered in delicious sauces that each have the right blend of quality spices and brown sugar that gives a hint of sweetness to complement all of your grilled meats. No matter what is on the grill, Bush’s has a bean for it!
For the Chili Lime BBQ Grilled Chicken, I chose Bush’s Southern Pit Barbecue Grillin’ Beans. They were sweet and smokey. Perfect for the chicken! I cooked the beans in a cast iron pot right on the grill (If you don’t have a cast iron pot, a small cast iron skillet would work great too!). I put the beans and the chicken on the grill at the same time. The beans hung out and got all nice and warm while the chicken cooked. SO easy! The best part is that everything tasted amazing! Everyone cleaned their plate. Chicken Legs has requested to make this again this weekend. Can’t wait to try some other flavors of the Bush’s Grillin’ Beans!! I’m thinking the Bourbon and Brown Sugar Grillin’ Beans would be good with this too.
