This Chipotle Steak Wrap is one of our go-to lunch and dinner recipes. Easy dinners are a must at our house and this wrap fits the bill. This sandwich is super simple to make and has tons of great flavor! Sliced steak, melted cheddar cheese, mushrooms, chipotle ranch dressing grilled golden brown and served with a side of salsa! We both love this wrap!
How to Make Chipotle Steak Wraps
This steak and cheese wrap is super easy to make. In a small bowl, mix together Ranch dressing and pureed chipotles in adobo sauce. Set aside. Place a flour tortilla on a cutting board. Top with a slice of cheddar cheese. Add cooked sliced steak, mushrooms. Drizzle with chipotle ranch dressing. Fold the edges of the tortilla to the middle and place on a panini press or grill pan. Cook until golden brown. Serve with a side of salsa for dipping.

- If you don’t have a sandwich press, you can cook the wraps in a large skillet like a grilled cheese sandwich over medium-high heat. Use a griddle press to press the sandwich down in the skillet.
- You can use any cooked steak in this recipe. My personal favorite is skirt steak. Flank steak, top sirloin steak, ribeye steak, prime rib. filet, or NY Strip steak all work fine.

Chipotle Steak Wrap
Ingredients:
- 1½ lb leftover steak, thinly sliced
- 7 soft taco tortillas
- 7 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 (4-oz) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
- ¼ cup ranch dressing
- 4 tsp pureed chipotles in adobo sauce
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, combine ranch dressing and pureed chipotles. Set aside.
- Place a slice of cheddar cheese on a tortilla. Top it with 3-oz sliced steak.
- Add a few mushroom pieces and 1 to 2 teaspoons of chipotle ranch dressing.
- Fold the edges of the tortilla to the middle and place on a panini press. Cook until golden brown.
- Serve with a side of salsa for dipping.

I am assuming that the skirt steak is cooked before assembling? The recipe instructions don't say and at first I was tempted to use a raw skirt steak.
