can this be made in a pan other than a bundt pan
I’m sure it can, you will need to adjust the cooking time.
I didn’t have Kahula so I substituted Irish Cream. It was a big hit. I’m going to make it again for Thanksgiving and try it with the Kahula.
Sounds delicious!!
Can this be made with a gluten free cake mix?
Laurie,
Do you use instant Hershey’s pudding?
Do you make any adjustments on other ingredients when adding the sour cream.
Thanks for sharing your ideas. Can’t wait to try them both!
I have been making a similar recipe for years, crowd pleaser always!
With my recipe I also add 8oz. of sour cream, moist cake results!
Also, I make it with a yellow cake mix or chocolate, both work with the same recipe.
With the yellow cake I use French vanilla pudding mix, with the chocolate cake mix, I use Hersey’s chocolate pudding mix…enjoy!
Can you substitute more Kalhua for some of the water? Like maybe 1/4 cup of the water, plus the 6 T? I would like a stronger Kalhua taste.
