Great Way to Use Leftover Thanksgiving Turkey

I have to admit that I actually like leftover turkey better than turkey at the holiday meal. I love using the leftover turkey for soups and sandwiches like this yummy Crack Turkey Salad Croissant. OMG! SO good! This is probably my all-time favorite turkey sandwich. Turkey salad loaded with cheddar, bacon, and ranch. I mean what’s not to like? Heck, I’ve made an Air Fryer Turkey Breast just so we can make this sandwich. It is that good!

How to Make Crack Turkey Salad

This is super easy to make. Start with chopped cooked turkey. Next add some celery, mayonnaise, a dash of Worcestershire sauce, ranch dressing mix, bacon, and cheddar cheese. That’s it. SO easy.

  • I like to put the turkey salad in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to an hour before serving.
  • Can substitute chicken for the turkey.

Turkey Sandwich Loaded with Cheddar, Bacon, and Ranch

We love to serve this turkey salad on croissants. I split the croissant and toast it in the oven before adding the turkey salad. This helps keep the croissant from getting soggy. This turkey salad is also great on toasted white or wheat bread. We’ve even eaten this as an appetizer/snack with some crackers.

This turkey salad is great with some chips, pasta salad, or slaw. Here are a few of our favorite recipes from the blog that go great with this sandwich:

  1. I'm like you but I way like the leftover dishes better than the turkey on Thanksgiving, especially pot pie and turkey salad. Your salad sounds great and the shot on the croissant looks delicious. Being home alone, I won't have any leftovers but I may go buy some turkey just to try this.
