Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts

One bite of these Cracked Out Brussels Sprouts is sure to make you into a brussels sprouts fan. I am not a big fan of brussels sprouts, but this recipe totally changed my mind. Brussels sprouts, cheddar, bacon, and ranch. O-M-YUM! We make this recipe at least once a week. Super simple to make and they taste great. They go great with chicken, pork, casseroles, and more. Give this a try! It is sure to become a family favorite.

What does CRACK mean?

If a recipe has “crack” in the title it means that the recipe has cheddar, bacon, and ranch in the ingredients. It all started with my Crack Dip way back in 2007. I made the dip for a Titans football game. Everyone went crazy over it. We couldn’t stop eating it and said it was like crack. The name stuck.

According to the dictionary, the definition of crack is “of superior excellence or ability”. We think the flavor combination of cheddar, bacon, and ranch fits this definition! These Brussels sprouts are most definitely of superior excellence! One taste and you will surely agree.

How to Make Cracked Out Brussels Sprouts

This side dish is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. Cut off the ends of the brussels sprouts and pull off any yellow outer leaves. Place trimmed Brussels sprouts in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with ranch dressing mix. Toss to coat. Place Brussels sprouts cut side down in a single layer on a sheet pan lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Place the pieces of bacon evenly on the baking sheet. Bake in the oven until the sprouts are crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Remove the pan from the oven. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
