This Greek Salad has quickly become a favorite at our house. It is seriously delicious. The salad is great, but the homemade dressing really puts this salad over the top! I made it for a dinner party and it was a huge hit. Everyone asked for the recipe!
is super easy to make. I made the dressing earlier in the day, chopped the lettuce and tomatoes ahead of time and tossed everything together before we ate. SO easy and a real crowd pleaser!
How to Make Greek Salad
The salad is made up of romaine, tomatoes, thinly sliced seedless cucumbers, sliced banana peppers, croutons, olives, feta cheese, and homemade Creamy Greek dressing.
The dressing is very easy to make with mayonnaise, milk, red wine vinegar, Greek seasoning, garlic, salt, and pepper. You can whip up the creamy Greek dressing ahead of time and refrigerate it until you are ready to toss the salad. I usually make the dressing a day or two in advance and let it hang out in the refrigerator.
I used some Cavender’s All Purpose Greek Seasoning for the seasoning in the dressing. It is readily available at Walmart, Target, and the grocery store. You can also find it at Amazon. I suggest buying the salt-free seasoning so you can have more control over the saltiness of the dressing.
What to Serve with Greek Salad
This salad is great for dinner parties, potlucks, and cookouts. I will chop all the vegetables and place them in a large foil pan and refrigerate until it is time to eat. I prefer to serve the dressing on the side at parties so people can use as much or as little dressing as they want.
This Greek Salad makes a great side dish or you can toss some chicken or fish on top for an easy main dish. Here are a few of our favorite recipes from the blog that go great with this easy salad:

Freaking delicious! Will make over and over!
what type of croutons did you use in the Greek Salad recipe ? , as they have several ” sesoned ” ones on the market
Any of them are fine. Just pick your favorite.
I appreciate the fact that you give an alternative method of cooking for grilled recipes. I do not grill but have enjoyed making several of your recipes using oven.
