Pin This RecipeI could make a meal out of these yummy Creamy Noodles. They are SO good! They are also very simple to make. Make the sauce while the spaghetti boils and the noodles are ready in about 15 minutes! LOVE easy side dishes like this.

We like to serve these Cream Noodles as a side dish with chicken, pork and steak. Heck, you could even chop up some meat and toss it in with the noodles for a main dish. Great way to jazz up leftovers!

Feel free to use low-fat cream cheese, milk and sour cream in these Creamy Noodles without sacrificing flavor. I also recommend using salt-free Cajun seasoning so you can control the saltiness of the noodles.
As I said, we love these Creamy Noodles. They are a favorite side dish all year round. They go with just about everything and only take a few minutes to make. Give these a try the next time you need a quick and delicious accompaniment to your meal!

I made this last night. It’s definitely a do over and it passed my picky eater test he loved it.
Can you use dry minced garlic??
Sure
I made this tonight and added shredded chicken. My kids and I loved it. It’s a keeper! Thank you!
I made this as a last minute dish for dinner, and added cooked shrimp at the very end. I roasted broccoli and cauliflower with shallots, added cooked bacon and garlic herb seasoning. Great pair for an unplanned dinner!
Love this quick and easy recipe a lot, it’s so yummy and I’ll add chopped fresh spinach or chopped broccoli for my picky veggie eaters, plates are always empty
Absolutely perfectly cooked pasta. Sauce was great and one eater added a drop of lemon to their’s which was really good. So quick and so easy. Any ideas, Karen, of converting your recipe to an instant pot recipe? Pressure the pasta (how long?) and remove then add sauce ingredients on sautee? I’m sure you’re thinking why do that as this is so quick as written? I’m wondering for my RV trips and long hotel stays. Thank you for considering this idea.
This was awesome. Made it for dinner tonight with bone in giant ribeye steaks. Everyone enjoyed it and we’re all very happy. This recipe was truly perfect to Go with the steaks and I am glad I found it browsing Pinterest.
Curious…Can I make the sauce and the noodles in advance and then mix just before serving? Will the sauce break if I do that? Just thinking of making in the morning and mixing/serving in the evening?
I’ve never tried that, so I can not say how it will work.
Just made this and added some fresh buttered shrimp to it, yum. Thanks, love your recipes
So yummy! We needed a quick side dish to go with some grilled pork chops and this was perfect! It was a busy weeknight and we didn’t have anything to go with it! We didn’t have Cajun seasoning on hand so I just sprinkled a little bit of red pepper flakes and it was perfect!
Can you use linguine? Or probably not?
Sure
Could you substitute heavy whipping cream for the cream cheese???
Do you think you could freeze this? It’s great!
I haven’t frozen this, so I’m not sure how it would be reheated.
Hi. I don't expect you to publish this. I just wanted to thank you for your recipes. I have enjoyed many of them and really appreciate the simplicity and how delicious they are. I enjoy reading your blog as well. Very down to earth. Thank you.
I see the recipe only serves 6. I want to serve 12 how do I up the recipe?
Just double all the ingredients. The cooking time should stay the same.
When does the minced garlic go in?

My son is learning to cook, so we made this pasta. It was awesome!
i really really really want to eat this…i'm not going to right now – but I really really really want to!
Any ideas for another spice besides Cajun? We don't like anything spicy.
It’s not spicy
I’m going to find a homemade Cajun recipe and then just omit the Cayenne pepper. Add a little on my own.

I was just thinking the other day of adding cajun seasoning to noodles in my instant pot. The instant pot seems to infuse the seasoning into the noodles as well as cooking them to perfection. Really surprized me.
