How to Make Crockpot Pork Tenderloin and Gravy
This Crockpot Pork Tenderloin and Gravy is SUPER easy to make. Place a couple of pork tenderloins in the slow cooker. Mix together packets of pork gravy, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Pour over the pork tenderloin and let the slow cooker do its thing. Feel free to add some fresh mushrooms to the mixture if you like.
One tip about cooking pork tenderloin. Make sure to trim the silver skin from the tenderloins. The silver skin is a silvery-white sheen membrane on the pork tenderloins. It is a thick connective tissue and it doesn’t break down when the pork is cooked. Use a knife to carefully trim the silver skin off the pork tenderloin before adding it to the slow cooker.

How is this make-ahead? Does it reheat well or should I plan on serving immediately.
It is fine reheated
Can I use 1 1/2lb pork tenderloin and just have extra gravy?
Sure!
This may be a stupid question but do you make the gravy according to the package or just mix the powder with thr soup and broth?
Do NOT make the gravy.
How do feel substituting cream of mushroom instead of cream of chicken?
That would be perfectly fine.
Can I make just a single tenderloin 1.5lbs?
sure
If I have one Pork Tenderloin that is 2.87 lbs. Can I use it as one large tenderloin or cut it in half?
It sounds like that is a pork loin and not a pork tenderloin. You can use a pork loin, but the cooking time will be different and it may not shred like the photos. They are not the same cut of meat and really shouldn’t be substituted for each other.
What did you end up doing? Did the recipe work with the loin? I didnt realize there was a difference and bought a loin as well.
You will just need to cook the pork loin longer so it will shred. You can also cut it into smaller pieces so it cooks quicker. A loin will shred, but it just takes longer than the tenderloins.
I have chicken tenderloins. Will it still work with this recipe?
Yes – it just won’t take as long to cook
oh ok. How long do you think I need t o put it on?
What’s some good sides to serve with it?
I listed our favorite sides in the post – above the recipe.
Instant pot?
What about using pork tenderloin chops? Would I need to adjust the recipe at all?
I think boneless pork chops would be fine. I wouldn’t make any adjustments.
A little confused, the recipe needs 2-3 2 1/2 -3 pound pork tenderloins or 1 3 pork tenderloin?
You need 2.5 to 3 pounds total weight of pork tenderloin meat. I used a package of 2 pork tenderloins that weighed about 2.5 pounds.
Do you have a favorite brand of gravy?
I used packets of McCormick pork gravy mix.
What are the green bits in the finished picture???
I sprinkled the pork with some dried parsley and fresh pepper.
Do you think it would be ok to use turkey gravy instead of pork gravy?
Sure!
