Easy Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Need a super easy weeknight meal? Well, look no further! This Slow Cooker Pork Tenderloin & Gravy only has 4 ingredients and takes less than 5 minutes to prepare. Not only is this super easy to make it is also super delicious! You can’t beat easy and delicious! We served this pork tenderloin and gravy over some rice with green beans and biscuits. Comfort food at its best.

How to Make Crockpot Pork Tenderloin and Gravy

This Crockpot Pork Tenderloin and Gravy is SUPER easy to make. Place a couple of pork tenderloins in the slow cooker. Mix together packets of pork gravy, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Pour over the pork tenderloin and let the slow cooker do its thing. Feel free to add some fresh mushrooms to the mixture if you like.

One tip about cooking pork tenderloin. Make sure to trim the silver skin from the tenderloins. The silver skin is a silvery-white sheen membrane on the pork tenderloins. It is a thick connective tissue and it doesn’t break down when the pork is cooked. Use a knife to carefully trim the silver skin off the pork tenderloin before adding it to the slow cooker.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  • Place pork tenderloins in slow cooker. Mix together gravy mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth. Pour over pork.
  • Cover slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6 hours.

Notes:

  • Do NOT make the gravy. Only use the dry packet ingredients.
  • You will need 2 or 3 pork tenderloins – depending on the size of each one.
  • Use a knife to carefully trim the silver skin off the pork tenderloins before adding them to the slow cooker. The silver skin is a silvery-white sheen membrane on the pork tenderloins. It is a thick connective tissue and it doesn’t break down when the pork is cooked.
  • You may substitute chicken or turkey gravy packets if you can’t find pork gravy packets.
  • May use any cream of soup in this recipe in place of cream of chicken.
  • I suggest using Unsalted Cream of Chicken Soup in this dish to control the sodium.
  • I sprinkled the cooked pork with some dried parsely and fresh cracked pepper.

  1. The weather report called for our first possible snow. Even if it doesn’t snow, it’s cold and rainy and this was perfect. Added some onions and mushrooms and served over mashed potatoes. Will definitely make this again.

  2. I am assuming you are using condensed cream of chicken soup in this recipe. Are you adding water as per the instructions on the can?

  3. Can I make this recipe in the instant pot? I have made this in the crock pot but don’t quite have the time I used to to cook

    1. I am sure that you could. I haven’t tried this in the IP, so I can not say what the cooking time would be.

  4. I have 2 pork tenderloins ( not pork loins), weighing a total of 5 lbs. Can I cook them both in my crockpot, & for how long?

  5. I only have marinated pork tenderloin in my freezer! I wonder if I could use it? What’s your thoughts?
    Thanks so much,
    Jackie

  6. I can’t believe there are so many stupid people ,I would not answer them. You offer them a very nice recipe and they want to change it

  7. This may be a stupid question but do you make the gravy according to the package or just mix the powder with thr soup and broth?

    1. It sounds like that is a pork loin and not a pork tenderloin. You can use a pork loin, but the cooking time will be different and it may not shred like the photos. They are not the same cut of meat and really shouldn’t be substituted for each other.

    2. What did you end up doing? Did the recipe work with the loin? I didnt realize there was a difference and bought a loin as well.

      1. You will just need to cook the pork loin longer so it will shred. You can also cut it into smaller pieces so it cooks quicker. A loin will shred, but it just takes longer than the tenderloins.

    1. You need 2.5 to 3 pounds total weight of pork tenderloin meat. I used a package of 2 pork tenderloins that weighed about 2.5 pounds.
