How to Make Oven Roasted Green Beans

These green beans only take a few minutes to prepare. Trim the fresh green beans, put in a baking dish, spread with mayonnaise and top with parmesan and paprika. You could even add a sprinkle of garlic salt. They were prepped and ready to bake before the oven even preheated. I quick and easy love recipes like this!

As I said, these green beans are a weeknight favorite. SO much better than a can of green beans and almost as easy to prepare! These green beans are also great for dinner parties! It looks “fancy” but it is so easy! Don’t tell anyone! It can be our little secret.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh green beans trimmed
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ¼ tsp paprika

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  • Place green beans in a lightly greased 9x13x2-inch baking dish.
  • Spread mayonnaise over green beans. Sprinkle parmesan cheese and paprika over mayonnaise.
  • Bake, uncovered, for 20 to 25 minutes.

Notes:

Use Duke’s Mayonnaise for a low-carb dish.

  1. I made this last night and pare the recipe down for 1 person so I wouldn’t have so many leftovers. Loved it and it turned out so pretty!

  2. Can you mix the mayo and parm? This looks so good! I’m going to see if the store has fresh green beans in yet just to try them for our Sunday dinner.

    1. I have not made this with frozen green beans. I would use the same amount of frozen as fresh. I am not sure how long frozen green beans need to cook. You will need to play with the cooking time.
