  1. I just had breakfast for dinner, chicken sausage, 2 eggs cheese omelet, and 2 biscuits waffles! Ten minutes and on the plate…YUM!!!

  2. We just made these yesterday. Our waffle iron took more like 3 minutes to brown them up, but they were super easy! They won't replace the real thing, but for a quickie breakfast, these are a-okay!

  3. I found this on pinterest and tried it this morning! It was fun, but I have a tip for everyone. Do NOT leave the waffle maker for clean up after you get back from taking the kids to school. You will end up with thick white stuff (lard?) stuck in the grids and it will be a HUGE pain to get it clean!

  4. We had these this morning. So simple and so good! We used a Mid-century Modern style waffle iron (Sunbeam) we got at the thrift store for $6. Loved the waffles with butter and syrup. Thinking about strawberries, bananas and whipped cream for an easy dessert. Thanks for sharing.

  5. Tried this last night, and it was a hit!! Of course, I had to use the homestyle biscuits, because I didn't have any of the Golden Layers ones on hand, but it still turned out yummy. 🙂

  6. That picture makes me want to sprint to the kitchen for some waffles. 😉

    Awesome quick breakfast idea.

  7. Okay, now I see a new waffle maker must be purchased in the near future.

You know, I wonder if I could make these on my panini press?

  8. How fun! I love little tricks like this. I'll have to show my 11 year old daughter this one!
    Thanks Steph!
