Copycat Domino’s Parmesan Bread Twists

Like most people, we occasionally order pizza for delivery. We recently ordered from Domino’s, and I got an order of their Parmesan Bread Twists. OMG! They are delicious. I could skip the pizza and just eat an order of the bread twists and be happy.

After dinner, I knew I had to try my hand at recreating them at home. I made these while Chicken Legs was out of the house. He came home and ate one and said “These taste like those breadsticks from Domino’s.” I think I nailed it.

How To Make Homemade Parmesan Bread Twists Like Domino’s

I used a can of refrigerated pizza dough as the base of these bread twists. Cut the dough in half lengthwise to make two long rectangles. Cut those rectangles into 8 strips each. You should have a total of 16 breadsticks. Twist the breadsticks and bake until golden brown. Once the bread is done, toss it in a mixture of butter, garlic, oregano, and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle them with a little extra parmesan after you put them on the plate. You can never have too much parmesan!

These breadsticks took about 15 minutes from start to finish. SO easy and SOOO tasty!

  1. These remind me of the garlic knots at a pizzeria in the town my daughter went to college in. So easy and so good! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

  2. The photo looks like they have coarse salt on them… but nothing like that in the recipe… what are the white chunky stuff???

  3. Yum!! I want to make these to go along with a pasta dish I'm taking to a loved one. Do you think they will be ok reheated the next day?

      1. Could you use pie crust or canned crescent roll dough instead? I couldn’t find any canned pizza dough at my local store.
