What is Everything Bagel Seasoning?
Everything Bagel Seasoning is all the rage. I discovered it last year when Trader Joe’s released their jar of Everything But The Bagel Seasoning blend. It is a very simple seasoning combination of poppy seeds, white sesame seeds, black sesame seeds, garlic, onion, and sea salt flakes. It goes great with just about everything, especially bagels!
How to Make Everything Bagel Breakfast Casserole
This Overnight Everything Bagel Sausage & Cream Cheese Breakfast Casserole is very simple to make with only a few simple ingredients. You just need to plan ahead so the casserole can sit in the refrigerator overnight. You are going to start with a package of Everything Bagels. Chop the bagels into bite-sized pieces and spread them in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch baking dish that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
Next, cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it is no longer pink. Drain excess grease. Add cream cheese to the cooked sausage and stir to combine. Sprinkle the sausage and cream cheese mixture over the bagels.
In a large bowl. whisk up the eggs, heavy cream, and sour cream. Pour egg mixture over bagels. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the casserole. Cover the and pop in the fridge overnight.
When ready to bake, remove the baking dish from the refrigerator and bring it to room temperature. Preheat the oven and bake uncovered until the eggs are set.`

Do you have nutrition info? Interested in carbs.
Here is a good online calculator: https://www.myfitnesspal.com/recipe/calculator
I suspect there are lots of carbs in this recipe since it has 5 bagels in it.
Seriously, ridiculously easy and delicious! Great for family gatherings and potlucks. This has gone into our "favorite recipes" binder.
Do you think this would work in the crockpot?
I think it would work. I haven't made this in the slow cooker, so I can't give you exact cooking times. I would guess 6 to 8 hours on LOW. ????
Do you think it would be ok to use 1/2 and 1/2?
I think that would be fine. Enjoy!
This casserole looks easy to make and very delicious! I will be adding it to my menu plan for next week. Thanks Steph!
