In a small bowl, stir together room temperature butter, parmesan cheese, and onion soup mix with a wooden spoon. Spread the butter mixture over the bread halves. Sprinkle bread with more parmesan cheese. Place bread on a baking pan and bake in a preheated oven until warm. Cut bread into slices and garnish with fresh parsley.
