These are really quick and easy to make. Just substitute Irish Cream for the water in a brownie mix and top with an Irish Cream Buttercream Frosting. O-M-YUM! These make a great dessert for a dinner party or potluck. They are also delicious with some vanilla ice cream. Whip up a batch ASAP!
How to Make Irish Cream Brownies
These brownies are super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. Start with preparing a box of brownie mix according to the package directions, substituting Irish Cream for the water. Pour the batter mixture into a 9-inch square baking pan lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven until a toothpick comes out with only crumbs. Cool completely.
To make the Irish cream buttercream frosting, beat some softened butter with a mixer until light and fluffy. Add powdered sugar, Baileys Irish cream, vanilla, and milk. Mix until well combined. Spread the frosting over the cooled brownies.
- You can use any box of brownie mix that you enjoy.
- If you don’t like boxed brownies, you can use your favorite homemade brownie recipe.

- Feel free to stir in some chocolate chips or nuts into the brownie batter.
- Look for Baileys chocolate chips for extra flavor! I find them at Walmart.
- You can substitute other liqueurs in the brownie batter and frosting – amaretto, peppermint schnapps, Kahlua, creme de banana would all be delicious!
- Store frosted brownies in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

I made these today also! My fiance loved them…and said that the frosting is the BEST frosting he has ever had in his life. Looks like another thing we will be keeping in our recipe box!

Those look good!
Will definitely be making some of these this week! Thanks for sharing! Teri Dingler
I'm a brownie fan and love the idea of substituting liquer's for the flavor. If you sprinkled a little green on Max, he'd match the brownies. 🙂
