These Grilled BBQ Burgers are a new favorite in our house! We’ve made them several times over the past few months and just can’t seem to get enough of them. SO simple and they taste amazing! SO much better than a fast-food joint! They are even better if you top them with some cheese and bacon. YUM!
This is a great easy make-ahead recipe for parties! I love to whip up a giant batch for cookouts and tailgating in the fall. I’ve tripled and quadrupled the recipe for a crowd.
How to Make Homemade BBQ Burgers
These hamburgers are very simple to make. Gently combine lean ground beef with an egg, BBQ sauce, and some salt and pepper. I use gloves to mix the meat by hand. Next, I weigh the meat and divide it into three equal patties. Finally, I use a burger press to press the burger meat into perfect hamburger patties. I linked to all these products below the recipe.
When grilling hamburgers, we only flip them once. We let them cook on one side and flip. We add the cheese with a minute left to cook. Once the burgers are done, we toss the buns on the grill to toast them up. Don’t forget to toast the bun! It definitely makes a difference!
