This is the first thing I made in my new Emile Henry ruffled pie plate – ham & swiss quiche. We had this for dinner on New Year’s with some black eyed peas (of course). The quiche was so pretty. I loved the way the crust cooked; it was nice and crispy on the bottom, unlike a frozen pie shell. I can’t wait to try other things in the pie plate. I think a chocolate cream pie is coming in the near future.
Great and easy, used Wal-Mart deep dish pie shell. Recommend making this quiche. It's almost overflowing the crust so be careful putting in oven.
well i can't wait to make this. i love quiche and this recipe sounds too simple. get yourself on twitter, would love to keep up with your wonderful blog.
Fabulous. I was anxious to see the first creation in this dish and how it would look. I'm going to have to get me one. And oh yes, that quiche recipe looks wonderful.
I like the new dish. The quiche looks perfectly cooked! Having ham for dinner so I might make this one tomorrow morning for breakfast.
We are big quiche fans arounf here and yours looks excellent – especially in the fancy dish.
