Hawaiian BBQ Pizza Braid – with refrigerated pizza dough
If you are like us, you probably have some leftover holiday ham in the house. Leftover ham is actually my favorite part of the holiday meal! I am always looking for new ways to use it all up. This Hawaiian Pizza Braid is one of my all-time favorite ways to use up some that yummy ham. Ham, pineapple, bbq sauce, cilantro and red onions wrapped in pizza dough. Seriously delicious!!!
This braid is super easy to make and it tastes fantastic! I like to save a little of the filling and put it on top of the braid to make it look extra pretty. This is totally optional. If you do this, bake the braid and add the reserved filling during the last 5 to 10 minutes of baking. You want the braid to be almost cooked before adding the ham/pineapple filling on top. If you add it before you bake the braid, the dough wonāt cook all the way through. Trust me on this one.
We love this Hawaiian Pizza Braid. Weāve eaten it a couple of times since Christmas. It is one of our favorite ham recipes. We love the combination of ham, pineapple and bbq sauce. If you arenāt a fan of cilantro and red onions you can leave them out. You can also just put some cilantro and red onions on top of the braid. Either way, this is sure to be a hit!

Should you mix in the pineapple in step 3? That ingredient is missing in the instructions.
Yes – step 3
Would crescent dough work?
Should work fine
This would have been a good one to show photos or video of how to do the braid.
You just pull each piece of dough to the center
