These Honey Ham Biscuit Sliders taste as good as they look!  They are just the right size for a snack anytime of day!  We made these for our tailgate last weekend, and they were a huge hit.  These would also be great for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

These sliders use canned biscuits instead of regular rolls.  The biscuits are packed full of honey mustard, swiss cheese, and our favorite Boar’s Head Virginia Baked Ham.  We brushed sliders with some warm honey as soon as they came out of the oven.  They were absolutely delicious!  Give these a try ASAP!

Ingredients:

  • 1 (12-oz) can Grands Jr Butter Tasting Biscuits (10 count)
  • ½ lb deli ham, shaved
  • 1 cup shredded swiss cheese
  • ¼ cup honey mustard dressing
  • 1 Tbsp butter melted
  • 2 Tbsp honey

Instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  • Lightly spray a 9-inch pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Separate each biscuits into two layers. Spread each layer with honey mustard and top with swiss cheese. Place half of the biscuits, cheese side up, in the bottom of prepared pan. Top with ham. Top ham with remaining biscuits, cheese side down. Brush biscuit tops with melted butter.
  • Bake 12-15 minutes, until golden brown. Heat honey in microwave for 20 seconds. Brush biscuit tops with warm honey. Serve immediately.

Notes:

Can use an 8-count can of refrigerated biscuits (Pillsbury Grands!) instead of the smaller 10-count can of biscuits.
I used Ken’s Honey Mustard dressing.

  1. I am having a real hard time cutting or pulling the bisquit in half….they are no longer circles the dough just wads all up….any tricks?

  2. Made these this morning and everyone raved about them. Made them with pilsbury frozen biscuits as I don't like the canned ones. Baked them til almost done, filled them and finished cooking them. Made 12 and they were gone within minutes. Thanks!!

  3. Hmm.. not sure why mine didn't work. I assembled them as directed, but ended up having to open them up – the tops and bottoms of the biscuits were getting overdone at 10 minutes, while the insides (where the filling was, and where the biscuits were touching) were still gummy and raw.

  4. You can bake the sliders and freeze what you don't eat for later. Just make sure you bake them first. The biscuits won't rise properly if you freeze them unbaked.

  5. They are quick and easy to prepare and very delicious. My mouth is watering for more. I will make some for a part of Christmas breakfast.

  6. made this for a snack/lunch yesterday. It was a HUGE hit with my family.
I did use the honey butter biscuits, which added just the right amount of extra sweetness. The only request that my family made was more meat and no honey mustard sauce, so I will make the changes next time, but over all these were GREAT and so quick and easy to throw together.

    Thanks for sharing 🙂

  7. Ann- don't pre-bake the biscuits. You assemble the sliders with the uncooked biscuit dough and bake everything together.
