Easy Baby Back Ribs Recipe
The 4th of July is coming up. I know some of you don’t own a grill (or don’t like to grill), SO I’m sharing my recipe for Instant Pot Baby Back Ribs. The ribs only cook for about 20 minutes in the Instant Pot. They are fall off the bone delicious and stupid easy to make. You can season the ribs the night before and pop them in the Instant Pot when you ready to eat.
How to Make Baby Back Ribs in the Instant Pot
The method for cooking ribs in the Instant Pot is basically the same as you will find all over the internet. What makes these ribs special is the RUB! The secret to the best-tasting ribs EVER is to rub the slabs with yellow mustard and then coat them in my homemade BBQ rub. O-M-G! SOOOOO good!!
We like our ribs to be super tender and almost fall off the bone. That is about 20 minutes of cooking time. Our ribs didn’t fall completely off the bone. If you like them that way, add 5 minutes to the cooking time. If you like more of a bite to your ribs, reduce the cooking time by about 4 or 5 minutes.
Once the ribs are done cooking in the Instant Pot, carefully remove them from the pot and place them on a baking sheet. Slather then with your favorite BBQ sauce and pop them under the oven broiler for a few minutes. You could even pop them on the grill to let the sauce caramelize. Putting them on the grill will give them a nice smoky flavor too!
What to Serve with Baby Back Ribs
We like to serve these ribs with some baked beans, slaw, and biscuits. Here are a few of our favorite recipes from the blog that go great with these tender BBQ ribs:

Thank you, Dorothy!! Hope you enjoy these ribs!
Can you do these ribs in a slow cooker and how long would it take to cook them?
Wondering the same thing as I don't have an "Instant Pot"
I made these yesterday! What a hit. I have a multipot from amazon that I used and the settings work pretty much the same. I def need to get more ribs next time haha
I'm eager to try these! You didn't even have to chop the ribs into sections to place onto the trivet?
I just curled the rack into a circle. You can cut them and stand them on their sides if that is easier.
