This is one of the best pork tenderloins we’ve ever made. We didn’t have any leftovers; It was absolutely delicious! The marinade was a little sweet from the BBQ sauce and a little tangy from the Worcestershire sauce. I used Wishbone Italian Dressing and Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce. Make sure you use a BBQ sauce that you like because it is the dominant flavor in this marinade. We also tried this marinade on skirt steak, and we both preferred it on the pork. I plan on trying it on chicken this weekend for Father’s Day.
Italian BBQ Marinade
adapted from allrecipes.com
(Printable Recipe)
½ cup Italian dressing
½ cup BBQ sauce
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp black pepper
Whisk together marinade ingredients. Marinate pork, chicken or beef for several hours or overnight in the refrigerator. Remove meat from marinade and grill.
*This is enough for 2 pounds of meat*
Great sauce for Chicken wings over Charcoal. I use Carolina style Mustard BBQ sauce. Tangy and tasty. Thanks for the great recipe!
Did this one yesterday with chicken- absolutely delicious! Pictures on my page. Thanks!
I read that you grilled it for 16 minutes – can you tell me what temperature on the grill? Sounds delish and want to try it this weekend!
We use a charcoal grill. I am not a gas grill person, but I would guess medium-high
Why remove marinade before grill?
After the marinade, how did you cook the tenderloin? It looks like you grilled it…? How long?
we grilled it about 16 minutes
Thanks! š
This is one of my favorite recipes EVER on Pinterest. I use the marinade on a beef roast. I add 1/4 cup liquid smoke & cook it in the slow cooker on these hot Las Vegas days. Hubby LOVES it!!!
The tenderloin looks perfect and I must try the marinade – did you spoon something over the sliced meat?
Oh my word, could life get any better than this! Definitely will be making this very, very soon. Beautiful!
And I just happen to have two tenderloins thawing for tomorrow night right now!
This looks sooo delicious! Must try! Had to pin!
Yum! Always looking for more pork recipes! and I LOOOOOOve Worcestershire sauce (even though I had to look on your post for how to spell it…)
Why won't my fork go through the monitor?!? I want!!!
I've got to try this on the pork this weekend. Sounds Wonderful Stephanie.
I'll have to try this! I do something very similar, but I use ketchup instead of the barbecue sauce.
