Pin This RecipeAnyone else have a serious weakness for tacos? I love Mexican food – especially tacos!! We don’t go to the Mexican restaurant very often because we have ZERO self-control around the chips and salsa. I mean, how to do you stop eating the chips and salsa? Do they run out, do I die, or what?!??! LOL!
The filling for these Low-Carb Keto Tacos is seasoned with Mrs Dash Southwestern Chipotle seasoning. It has zero carbs and zero sodium! I added a can of diced tomatoes and green chiles for some zing. We topped our tacos with more cheese, sour cream and a dollop of guacamole. Wholly guacamole Avocado Verde Dip is super low in carbs and adds lots of great flavor to these tacos.
Since going out for Mexican isn’t an option, we usually whip up our own fiesta. These Low-Carb Keto Tacos are super delicious and on our new year’s diet plan. How are tacos low carb, you ask? The shells are made out of cheese! WHOA! How cool is that? I baked the cheese on a non-stick pan liner and then set them inside a muffin cup to cool and set up into a cup shape.

Would it be easier if you put the baked cheese over the back (reverse side) of the muffin pan?
That would work fine too. Whatever you prefer.
How long will the cheese shells last if u do 12 will the last a week if u put n sealed bag or container?
I'm not sure, we usually eat them all. I would say at least a week.
I see 6 circles of cheese and the recipe says 4. So I have two muffin spots left. Will this amount of cheese in the recipe do 6??? Or just 4.
This sounds so good I want to make these very soon.
It says 4 inch circles. You will get 12 circles total
You will get 12 Cheese circles that are each 4-inches round
Yum!!! i might just eat the cheese alone! Very Keto-friendly! haha
Hey, Just wondering what the serving size is? How many of those yummie cups can you consume?
Thanks for doing what you do!!!!! Lynne
It is up to you. They are the size of a muffin cup. Maybe 2 or 3 per person
