Anyone else have a serious weakness for tacos? I love Mexican food – especially tacos!! We don’t go to the Mexican restaurant very often because we have ZERO self-control around the chips and salsa. I mean, how to do you stop eating the chips and salsa? Do they run out, do I die, or what?!??! LOL!
Since going out for Mexican isn’t an option, we usually whip up our own fiesta. These Low-Carb Keto Tacos are super delicious and on our new year’s diet plan. How are tacos low carb, you ask? The shells are made out of cheese! WHOA! How cool is that? I baked the cheese on a non-stick pan liner and then set them inside a muffin cup to cool and set up into a cup shape.
The filling for these Low-Carb Keto Tacos is seasoned with Mrs Dash Southwestern Chipotle seasoning. It has zero carbs and zero sodium! I added a can of diced tomatoes and green chiles for some zing. We topped our tacos with more cheese, sour cream and a dollop of guacamole. Wholly guacamole Acocado Verde Dip is super low in carbs and adds lots of great flavor to these tacos.
