Meow Monday – pictures of cute cats to start the week
Happy Monday! I hope everyone isn’t hungover after Cinco de Meow yesterday. We stayed home and made fajitas. It was a low-key fiesta with the cats.
The cats had a good week. Lots of naps, lots of bird watching. Nacho Man did have a little adventure. More about that below. The weather is getting warmer, so the cats are spending more and more time outside on the screened deck. The hotter the better for them!
Also, don’t forget about Mother’s Day this weekend!
Here is Squeaky on her perch. This is where she meows loudly every time she jumps up. I’ve nicknamed her the town crier! LOL!
Squeaky has been sneaking in the bed this week to sleep on me. I’ll wake up randomly to find her sleeping on my chest. It is usually when I wake up to turn over, so I have to keep sleeping on my back because she is there.
This boy is doing great. He spent lots of time napping this week. He napped in the bed, on the sofa, and outside in his chair. The weather is wonderful right now, so he is really starting to enjoy the patio again. He has been hanging out next to his catnip pots. I can tell Summer is right around the corner.
We rarely see Nacho Man these days. He spends almost every waking hour outside on the screened in deck. He absolutely loves watching the birds and squirrels. We saw a hawk in the backyard on Friday night. All the birds went scurrying off. I was just glad Nacho Man wasn’t an outside cat anymore. That hawk might have grabbed him up.
Nacho Man does come and visit me in the mornings. He likes to sit on my desk and watch me work. He just chills on the desk and slow blinks me.
Nacho Man did have a little adventure this week. We took him to the vet because he wasn’t eating as usual. He didn’t eat much while we were gone to the beach, and wasn’t eating his wet food this past week. I got super worried, so I made Chicken Legs take us to the vet. Well, the vet said he looked fine. He gave him an appetite stimulant to take for a few days. BUT as soon as we got home, Nacho Man started eating again. I guess a quick trip to the vet was all he needed to jump-start his appetite.
