Happy Valentine’s Day! Mango is looking extra cute on this holiday. She is looking forward to her special holiday meal – some cooked chicken and a little bit of ham. Mack and Felix have requested extra Party Mix treats.

Dear Gayle!! Loved ur little essay on ur ferel kitties!!…..and YES, they make great pets!! It appears that they are already loving u by wanting to sleep with u instead of the “bed” u already made for them!! They a r feeling safe with u!! Know that u r a beautiful person for caring n loving them!! YES, getting them spay/neutered cost some but it’s only money…..if money is an issue, try to c if the clinic(s) would except a possible payment plan?! I think u r going to keep them…..remember, they feel safe with u!! Much love, donnie hallak, RN. BTW, our 3 kitties I found in our front garden 7 years ago r still with us……wouldn’t change a thing!!
Hi Steph, In July I inherited two Ferrell kittens from their Mommy……she left them underneath my air/heat unit and I never saw her again. I’m thinking something bad has happened to her because she would not have left these kittens…..they were still very young. I’ve been feeding and talking to them and it’s taken a while, but now I can love on the male, but the female is still a little shy. On the cold nights I let them come into the house. I made a bed for them, but they ended up sleeping with me. I bought a litter box and they are really good about using it. Now I’m in a dilemma……have them spayed and neutered and keep them as pets or leave them like they are and let them run wild. It’s so expensive to have them operated on….even at the “low-cost” clinic. Do Ferrell kittens make good pets? They are so adorable. Do you or one of your readers have any advice? Love your site.
