Good Morning! Happy Meow Monday! I’m here to brighten your day with some photos of cute cats! I know it helps me! I hope it helps you get the week started on the right foot.
We have a little lion in the house! Grandpa Felix got a haircut. His fur was really matted, so we took him to the vet to get a trim. I was worried that he was going to be mad at us, but he absolutely LOVES it! We have nicknamed him Mouffasa.

I know his face says I hate this, but I promise he loves it. Felix’s fur was really matted and was pulling on his skin. He feels SO much better.
As soon as he got home he started running around and playing. He is even cleaning more. YAY! Can’t wait to see his fur grow back.
Mango wasn’t too sure about the naked cat walking around. She jumped off the tower and ran and hid in the bedroom.
It took about 3 or 4 days before Mack recognized Felix. Both Mack & Mango hissed at Felix when they first saw him. I’m glad everything is back to normal.

Never a dull moment when you have cats! I have had to have a cat made into a lion before too and they really do feel better when the mats come off. Thank you so much for sharing about your awesome cats. I look forward to it every week.
Felix didn’t smellt he same when he came back from the vet, in addition to looking so different. Glad they are all back to normal. Grandpa looks so adorable and he must feel so much better!

He must be like my cat she hated being brushed. We tried to tell her if she would just let us brush she wouldn’t have to get shaved. But nooooooo
Same with Felix. He HATES to be brushed. He doesn’t seem to mind his haircut though. So I guess that is good.

Oh my he really doesn’t look to happy about the new cut but I’m glad he feels better and got rid of the mats. We did a lion cut once to one of our dogs (a Chow) and she looked so silly. – Had to laugh that Mango hid when she saw Felix.
