Creamy Pasta with Bacon

Stop what you are doing and add this One Pot Carbonara Recipe to your menu! OMG! It is a new favorite at our house. Super creamy pasta loaded with cheese, bacon, and green peas. Now, this isn’t a traditional carbonara recipe. This recipe has no eggs! The creaminess of the dish comes from a can of cream of chicken soup. It sounds weird, but it totally works. The soup makes this pasta super rich and creamy. SO simple and tastes great!

How to Make One-Pot Spaghetti Carbonara 

This pasta is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. In a large pot, whisk together cream of chicken soup and chicken broth. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Add uncooked spaghetti and cook in the soup mixture until tender. Do NOT drain the pasta. Stir in crispy bacon, grated parmesan cheese, and frozen green peas into the spaghetti and sauce. Season with some fresh cracked pepper to taste. Transfer to a pasta bowl and enjoy.

  • I use spaghetti. You can use any long pasta. Fettuccine or linguine both work great.
  • Sometimes I add some garlic powder and onion powder to the sauce.

  • In a large saucepot, whisk together cream of chicken soup and chicken broth.
  • Bring to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package directions for al dente pasta.
  • DO NOT DRAIN PASTA.
  • Remove the pot from the heat. Stir in grated cheese, crispy bacon, and peas.
