Easy Ground Beef Pasta

One pot, no-boil dishes are my favorite! I love how easily they come together and how easy they are to clean up! This One Pot Chili Mac is no exception. I browned the meat and then threw everything else in the pot. I let it simmer for about 15 minutes and dinner was ready. So easy to make and tastes great! Whip up a salad and some rolls for a meal the whole family will enjoy!

How to Make One-Pot Chili Mac

This one-pot meal is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. In a Dutch oven or large saucepot, cook ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess grease. Add fresh garlic to the pot and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant. Add minced onion, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth to the pot. Stir well. Season with salt, black pepper, chili powder, and a packet of chili seasoning. Stir in uncooked elbow macaroni pasta, chili beans, and shredded cheddar cheese. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce to medium heat and simmer until the pasta is tender. Top with more cheese and enjoy.

  1. My sons don’t like the diced tomatoes – any thoughts on whether crushed tomatoes would suffice and if so, what amount would you use? Thank you!

  2. I don’t have a dutch oven, is there a way to do this in instapot? Saute meat in there and add the rest on a slow cooker function or something?
