One pot, no-boil dishes are my favorite! I love how easily they come together and how easy they are to clean up! This One Pot Chili Mac is no exception. I browned the meat and then threw everything else in the pot. I let it simmer for about 15 minutes and dinner was ready. So easy to make and tastes great! Whip up a salad and some rolls for a meal the whole family will enjoy!
How to Make One-Pot Chili Mac
This one-pot meal is super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. In a Dutch oven or large saucepot, cook ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess grease. Add fresh garlic to the pot and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant. Add minced onion, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth to the pot. Stir well. Season with salt, black pepper, chili powder, and a packet of chili seasoning. Stir in uncooked elbow macaroni pasta, chili beans, and shredded cheddar cheese. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce to medium heat and simmer until the pasta is tender. Top with more cheese and enjoy.

My sons don’t like the diced tomatoes – any thoughts on whether crushed tomatoes would suffice and if so, what amount would you use? And BTW – you are absolutely, positively my go to site for recipes that I’ll likely have most of the ingredients on had, or know what they are, it will be pretty quick and it will be tasty! Thank you!
You can definitely try it! I think it would be fine.
This was so good! The whole family loved it. Tasted even better for lunch the next day!
I don’t have a dutch oven, is there a way to do this in instapot? Saute meat in there and add the rest on a slow cooker function or something?
Delicious! Simple and quick, yet fantastic! Garnished with a little extra cheese on top. Served it up with a garden salad for an easy weeknight supper. Kids loved it as did hubby! Win win!
Do you simmer everything with the cheese, or do you add that in after?
the cheese goes in the pot to cook with everything else
Thank you, can't wait to make this tonight 🙂
I made this last night and it was fantastic! And it was even better that there was only one pan to wash. It's a definite keeper and I'm adding it to our rotation.
I'm a cooking newbie… elaborate on browning hamburger in a Dutch Oven, please.

My list just keeps getting longer and longer of recipes I need to try of yours!! This looks like it's going on the top of the list!!
Super quick question… did you mince the garlic cloves, or just let them cook in there whole for the flavor?
Maureen – I minced them. I will fix the ingredients. Thanks!
This looks really good. Thanks for the quick, week-night recipe.
I just love this dish.
I have way to many nights where I have about 20 minutes to get dinner on the table! I cannot tell you how happy this dish makes me!
