How to Make Parmesan Pepperoni Bites

These pepperoni bites are easy to make with only four ingredients. Start with a can of crescent rolls. Separate the rolls into rectangles. Mix together cream cheese, parmesan cheese, and pepperoni. Spread the cream cheese mixture down the middle of the rectangles. Bring the long edges over the filling to make a log. Cut the log into four pieces and place on a baking sheet. Top the bites with parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning and bake.

  • You can use crescent rolls or crescent dough sheets for this recipe. Regular or reduced-fat are fine.
  • I used mini pepperoni in this recipe and left a few whole in the filling. Feel free to substitute turkey pepperoni for a lower calorie option.
  • You can use low-fat cream cheese in the filling.
  • Can add any of your favorite pizza toppings to the filling – mushrooms, onions, olives, peppers, ham.
  • This recipe makes 32 pizza bites. You can easily cut the recipe in half if you don’t need that many.
  • I find it easier to cut the crescent bites with a pizza cutter wheel. The pizza cutter glides through the filled dough and the filling doesn’t ooze out.
  • Can I make these pizza bites ahead of time? You can assemble the bites and refrigerate them a couple of hours before baking.

What to Serve with Pepperoni Bites

These little pizza calzone bites are a favorite at our house. Serve with some warm pizza sauce for a real treat. These bites are great for lunch, tailgate parties, potlucks, parties, and holiday parties. I usually have to double the recipe because these things fly off the plate. I never have any leftovers! They taste great hot out of the oven or cooled to room temperature. They are great as an appetizer, main dish, or side with pasta!
