How to Make Pimento Cheese Ball

This is a super easy recipe to make. Simply combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic salt, and pimentos. Shape the mixture into a ball or log. Wrap the cheese mixture in plastic wrap and refrigerate. A few hours before serving, remove the cheese from the refrigerator and roll the cheese ball in pecans and parsley.

  • Can use low-fat or fat-free cream cheese.
  • You can divide the cheese mixture into 2 equal balls or into smaller individual balls for parties.
  • Sometimes I like to stuff the cheese mixture into celery and top it with the chopped pecans.
  • You can use freshly grated parmesan or the parmesan cheese in the green can.
  • Want to spice up the cheese ball? Add some chopped jalapeños to the cheese mixture.
  • If you don’t want to roll the cheese ball in pecans, you can use fresh herbs, bacon, walnuts, almonds, chili powder, paprika, or crushed pork rinds.
  • Is Pimento Cheese Ball gluten-free? Yes! All of the ingredients in the cheese ball are gluten-free.
  • Is Pimento Cheese Ball low-carb and keto-friendly? Yes! All of the ingredients in the cheese ball are low-carb.
  • How long will a cheese ball keep? The cheese ball will keep up to two weeks covered in the refrigerator.

What to Serve with a Cheese Ball

We usually serve the cheese ball with some crackers or veggie slices. I especially like this with our Spicy Snack Crackers. OMG! SO good! As I said, you can also stuff the cheese mixture into celery sticks and enjoy it that way.
