How to Make BBQ Meatballs Recipe
These meatballs are super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, combine lean ground beef, quick oats, milk, onion, Montreal steak seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Roll the meatball mixture into small balls. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and place them in the freezer for 10 minutes.
In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of canola oil over medium-high heat. Brown the frozen meatballs on the stove top until just brown. Place meatballs into an oven-safe skillet or baking dish. In a medium bowl, whisk together ketchup, sugar, white vinegar, onion, Worcestershire sauce, and a dash of hot sauce. Spoon the sauce over the partially cooked meatballs. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake. Garnish the meatballs with some parsley or green onions.
