No BBQ is complete without baked beans. They just seem to go hand-in-hand, in my opinion. This year I am making a batch of these Quick Baked Beans. There are only a few simple ingredients and they only take 10 minutes! Win Win!

This recipe starts with a couple of cans of Pork and Beans and adds some ketchup, mustard, onions, brown sugar and bacon. Just dump everything in a pan, bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 minutes. SO easy! They also tasted great! I thought they were some of the best we’ve made. They are most definitely going to be on our table next weekend for the 4th of July!

  1. for a unique twist, add a large can of crushed pineapple to this recipe – another flavor level – and absolutely wonderful served very cold

  2. This (minus the mustard) is basically the way my mom made baked beans my whole life, and everyone always loves them! Can't say I've ever measured, but I think the amount of brown sugar and ketchup we use is quite a bit more – ours end up pretty sweet, but they are absolutely the best baked beans ever! 🙂
