Chicken Legs loves a good Reuben, and he gave these Reuben Crescents two thumbs up! They are a great addition to your St. Patrick’s Day celebration! Corned Beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese, thousand island dressing wrapped in crescent rolls and baked. SO good! All you need is a green beer and you are set!
How to Make Reuben Crescents
These Reuben sandwiches are very easy to make. Simply place deli corned beef, thousand island dressing, swiss cheese, and sauerkraut on a crescent roll. Roll the crescent rolls up, sprinkle with some poppy seeds, and bake. Easy Peasy!
- The key to keeping the crescents from getting soggy is to put half of a slice of corned beef on the crescent roll, top it with the sauerkraut and dressing, then put the other half of the meat on top of the wet ingredients. That will help keep the crescent rolls from being soggy.
- Can use reduced-fat crescent rolls.
- Traditional Reuben sandwiches use swiss cheese. Feel free to use any cheese you prefer.

Hello, I plan to make these for a st Patty’s day potluck so I’ll be making then the night before. Is there a good way to reheat these or would nuking them in the microwave do?
You can reheat them wrapped in aluminum foil in the oven or in the microwave. Either is fine.
Are these best served out of the oven or can they be room temp ? Thanks
Either way is fine. Enjoy!
The plain chiken is best ac compared to the other chieckn recipes. It's very tasty and easy to prepare.
