Sandestin Wine Festival

If you follow me on Twitter and Instagram, you know that we just got back from a the Sandestin Wine Festival. We had an absolute blast!

The weather could not have been more perfect.
Warm, slight breeze and no humidity.

There were 72 wine and spirits vendors spread out all over the Baytowne Wharf.
It went on and on!
We did our best to check them all out (and not pass out)!

This was our favorite wine find.
Albarino – it is Spanish.
We bought a couple of bottles to take home. Hopefully, we can find it in Birmingham.

This was our favorite drink of the whole festival.
The Pink Bikini from Coastal Living.
We will be whipping up a batch this summer and for tailgating this fall.

Seagar’s was grilling whole beef tenderloins for everyone.
It was amazing!

These little cupcakes were in the champagne tent. They were yummy!

The Elephant Walk was sampling a grouper almondine over grits.
The grits were SO good!
We will definitely have to eat at Elephant Walk next time we are in town.

There was live music playing the entire day from Roman Street.
They are a jazz/Flaminco style band.
They were really good!
They brought their dad on stage to play harmonica – awesome!
We would love to see these guys play again.

These kids were hilarious dancing to the music!

I even won a prize! A bottle of champagne/sparkling wine.
Whoo Hoo!
We had such a fun time at the Sandestin Wine Festival
We are already talking about coming back again next year!
