  1. Just tried this for New Years Day breakfast, w bacon not sausage.
It was great. Easy to put together – did day before..bottom a bit dark but could be my oven. I would def. Make this again!!! Delicious Time saver!

  2. Just checking on the make ahead/ freezer instructions – freeze unbaked, and just bake the one time when ready to eat? Will this option turn out (at least almost) as good as fresh?

    1. Yes. I always freeze it unbaked and thaw it – seems like a waste of time to bake it, freeze it and then reheat it for about as long as you originally baked it. If you freeze it unbaked, it will taste fresh after you bake it.

  3. If I prepare this the night before and place in the fridge, how long do I need to set it out the next morning before placing in the oven?

  4. Solid breakfast casserole recipe. I didn’t have sausage to sauté, but I did have Jimmy Dean Breakfast sausage links in my freezer next to my frozen hashBrowns. I simply sliced the sausages when they were frozen-easy. It worked! I think it’s great not to have to dirty not one single pan-Yay!
