I am in full Easter menu prep mode. These Slow Cooker Honey Glazed Peas and Carrots are definitely going on the menu. They are super easy to make and they taste delicious! Peas and carrots slow cooked in honey and butter – what’s not to like?!?!?
I used two bags of baby carrots in this recipe. You can also use two pounds of sliced carrots if you prefer. Either way, this will taste great!! I love how yummy the veggies are after slow cooking all day. It really gives the flavors time to meld together.
Slow Cooker Honey Glazed Peas and Carrots
- 2 (1-lb) bag baby carrots
- 1 large onion, chopped
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup honey
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried marjoram
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1 (16-oz) package frozen green peas
- Combine all ingredients except frozen peas in a 6-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 hours.
- Stir in frozen peas. Cover and cook on HIGH for 15 to 25 minutes.
So is it supposed to be 1/2 cup butter not water?
