Easy Crockpot Chicken Recipe with 4 Ingredients

Easy slow cooker meals are my jam. I love being able to dump everything in the slow cooker in the morning and coming home to dinner being done. This Slow Cooker Orange BBQ Chicken is a favorite at our house. With only 4 ingredients, you can’t go wrong with this easy recipe! We make this BBQ Orange Chicken all the time. We ate this for dinner and leftover in sandwich wraps for lunch during the week.

How to Make Crockpot Orange BBQ Chicken

This Slow Cooker Orange BBQ Chicken is ridiculously easy to make. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Whisk together BBQ sauce, orange marmalade, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour the bbq mixture over the chicken and cook. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred with two forks. Return the chicken to the slow cooker and stir in the sauce.

You can use any cut of chicken that you prefer. Tenderloins, things, or breasts work fine. You could even use chicken drumsticks. It will all taste delicious!

I have used several brands of BBQ sauce in this recipe with success. My favorites are Stubb’s, Williamson Brothers, and Sweet Baby Rays.

What to Serve with Orange BBQ Chicken

This Slow Cooker Orange BBQ Chicken is in our dinner rotation. We make it at least once a month. It is so easy to make and tastes great! We like to serve this BBQ chicken over rice, mashed potatoes, grits, or cauliflower rice. It is equally delicious over a baked potato, on top of a salad, or on nachos. Whip up some green beans, asparagus or a potato casserole and you are set! Here are a few of our favorite recipes from the blog that go great with this BBQ Chicken:

  1. Stephanie, I follow your recipes and I have tried most of them, you never lead me wrong! Your Slow Cooker Orange Chicken was absolutely delicious!! I made it Sunday (with thawed chicken) and made more on Tuesday(with frozen chicken), I liked thawed the best! Also, after I shredded chicken, I put it back in the pot for 30 minutes. Thank you so much!

  2. Loved the sauce but felt for me a little dry on the chic side. Will try either boneless thighs or marinate the breast first in a simple salt, honey and water mixture first. Hubby love it.😊
