- I like to keep this dish simple, but feel free to add onions, bell peppers, or olives to the sausage mixture.

- Can Spicy Sausage & Cheese Tarts be frozen? Yes! Assemble the tarts and place on cookie sheet and freeze. Once the tarts are frozen, transfer them to a freezer bag and freeze.

WHERE DO YOU FIND THE PHYLLO TART SHELLS ?
READ THE POST – THERE IS A BIG BOX IN THE POST THAT TELLS YOU
I made these into egg rolls and deep fried them. Everyone loved them!
Is this actual dressing or dry dressing mix?
It is a bottle of prepared dressing
I used the leftover filing to wrap in an omelet -delicious!
I make them using Tostitos scoops……Awesome!
We used to make these on those little rye toasts, rather than in a tart shell. So good.
I can imagine popping those in my mouth while watching a game, oh YEAH! YUM! 😀
The one Jenn King said is the one I make. With the wonton wrappers.
Have been told to bring them even if I didn't come to the party.
Yours look good too.
Happy weekend.
We've been making a similar version of these for a couple of years now and we love them! You can substitute the phyllo for wanton wrappers (just par bake them in a muffin tin for 3-5 min before filling) add a finely chopped red bell pepper and use spicy sausage for even more of a zip. I love the phyllo idea! I'm making these this weekend.
