I immediately ran to the store to buy the ingredients. OMG! I am totally addicted to these crackers! SO much flavor and just the right about of heat. This recipe makes a TON of crackers so it is a great recipe to share with friends. Put some crackers in a Christmas tin and BOOM great holiday present!
How to Make Spicy Snack Crackers
These spicy seasoned crackers are super easy to make. Take your favorite boxes of crackers and place in a garbage bag. Whisk together Worcestershire sauce, vegetable oil, butter, Accent, red pepper flakes, garlic salt, chili powder, and Tabasco sauce. Pour over the crackers and shake to coat. Pour the crackers on 2 or 3 rimmed baking sheet and bake. Let the crackers cool and enjoy!
- You can use any of your favorite crackers in this recipe. Here is what I used:
- Mini Club Crackers
- Cheez-Its
- Cheeze-It Grooves
- Chicken in a Biscuit
- Better Cheddars
- Sociables
- Ritz crackers and Wheat Thins are also delicious in this mix.
- You can omit the Accent seasoning if you prefer.
- Store the crackers in an airtight container or ziplock bags.
- The crackers will keep at least 2 weeks in an air-tight container.
- The crackers are spicy. You can reduce the hot sauce and red pepper flakes to your personal preference.
How to Serve Seasoned Crackers
These crackers are delicious on their own as a snack at parties and tailgates. They are also great with a cheese ball or dips and tossed in your favorite soup or chili. I always have a bag in the pantry. I put some of these in our Cream Cheese Crack Chicken Chili last week – OMG! SO good!! You must make these ASAP!

Spicy Snack Crackers
Equipment:
Ingredients:
- 6 boxes favorite snack crackers
- ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
- ¾ cup vegetable oil
- ¾ cup melted butter
- 3 Tbsp Accent seasoning
- 2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 Tbsp garlic salt
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 Tbsp Tabasco sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 250ºF.
- Empty all the crackers into a kitchen garbage bag.
- Whisk together Worcestershire, vegetable oil, melted butter, Accent, red pepper flakes, garlic salt, chili powder, and Tabasco. Pour into bag over crackers and shake well.
- Spread crackers into 2 or 3 rimmed baking sheets.
- Bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
- Allow crackers to cool and store in an air tight container.

I am not a spicy food fan so I worried these would be too hot. They weren’t. My family makes goodies and takes them to about 20 houses the Sat before Christmas and I made these. They were a big hit. I did add a little more Worcestershire (7-8 dashes) another tsp of oil and 1 tsp each of lawrys seasoning and onion powder.
