Sweet & Spicy Candied Nuts
These Sweet & Spicy Candied Nuts are a staple in our house during the holiday season. I can’t make them very often because we end up eating the whole batch ourselves! They are ridiculously delicious and smell wonderful while they are cooking. The nuts are so simple to make and much cheaper than buying spiced nuts at the mall. Whip up a batch ASAP!
How to Make Candied Nuts
These nuts are super easy to make with only a few simple ingredients. In a large bowl, beat egg whites and water with an electric mixer until frothy. Add nuts and toss to coat. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, kosher salt, cayenne pepper, and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the nuts and gently toss to coat. Pour coated nuts onto a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes, stirring halfway through. Cool nuts and break up any clumps.

Should ingreds. show 1 tsp cayenne instead of 1 tsp paprika?
These sound yummy.
But the ingredient list says to use Paprika and the description says Cayenne Pepper…which do you use?
I am adventurous and am thinking I will go with Cayenne!
