Pin This RecipeNeed an amazing dessert for your Cinco de Mayo celebration next week? Look no further! This Tequila Key Lime Pie is one of the best we’ve ever had! The crust has a hint of cinnamon and the key lime custard is kicked up with a shot of tequila. It was so good. I gave away half of this pie to a friend, and we gobbled up the remaining half.
This pie is super easy to make. Start by making the crust with graham cracker crumbs, sugar, butter, and cinnamon. Next whisk together egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, tequila, and key lime juice. Pour the filling into the crust and bake. Let the pie cool and top with some fresh whipped cream.
This pie can be made ahead of time and refrigerated for a couple of days. If you do make it ahead of time, don’t make the whipped cream until you are ready to serve the pie. You can substitute cool whip for the fresh cream if you prefer.

Can I make this in a store bought graham cracker crust?
Sure. You may have some leftover filling because the store-bought crust is smaller than the homemade one in the recipe.
