Lulu’s One Heart Marinade

Grilling season is right around the corner and I can not wait! We are able to grill almost year-round where we live, but we really kick it into high gear in the summer. We probably grill out 4 or 5 days a week. These Teriyaki Pork Chops are one of our grilling favorites! Pork chops marinated in a garlicky teriyaki marinade. SO good! We made these for lunch last weekend and were blown away. The pork chops were so tender and juicy and packed full of amazing flavor!

How to Make Teriyaki Pork Chops on the Grill

These Teriyaki Pork Chops are super easy to make. Simply whisk together teriyaki sauce, garlic, mirin, black pepper, olive oil and hot sauce. Let the pork chops marinate an hour to overnight. Pop on the grill.

This recipe uses mirin. Mirin can be found in the Asian food section of the supermarket. It will be near the teriyaki and soy sauce. I used Sweet Baby Ray’s Teriyaki sauce in this recipe. You can also use Kikkoman teriyaki sauce.

Can Pork Chops Be Pink?

Pork chops are done when they reach an internal temperature of 145ºF. Pork chops are perfectly safe to eat with pink or a blush of pink. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the pork chops before taking them off the grill.

  • Medium Rare: 145 – 150ºF
  • Medium: 150 – 155ºF
  • Medium Well: 155 – 160ºF
  • Well Done: 160ºF
