Easy Steak Marinade Recipe

We love a good homecooked steak. While I love going to eat at a fancy steakhouse, I honestly prefer to eat steak that we cook at home. This Teriyaki Steak Marinade has been on repeat at our house. This marinade is super easy to make and is packed full of flavor! I know some people don’t believe in marinating steaks, but we always marinate our steaks before cooking. We love all the extra flavor a marinade adds to the meat. Give this a try the next time you are having a steak dinner. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

How to Make Teriyaki Steak Marinade

This marinade is super simple to make. Simply whisk together soy sauce, pineapple juice, garlic, dry mustard, ginger, brown sugar, and parsley. Place the steaks in a large ziplock bag. Pour the marinade over the steaks and refrigerate for up to 24 hours, turning the steaks every few hours. Remove the steaks from the marinade and cook/grill until they reach your desired temperature.

  • For a gluten-free marinade, use a gluten-free soy sauce.
  • I suggest using a low-sodium soy sauce in this recipe.
  • You can use this marinade on any cut of steak that you enjoy – ribeye, sirloin, NY Strip, filet, skirt steak, flank steak – anything you like.

What to Serve with Steak

This steak is crazy good! O-M-YUM! We’ve been making this about once a month and absolutely LOVE it. We like to serve the steaks with some potatoes, sautéd mushrooms, and a salad. Leftovers are great on top of a salad or in a quesadilla. YUM! Give this a try the next time you cook steak at home. I promise it will be a hit!
