Where To Eat on the Las Vegas Strip

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Pepto Bismol. The opinions and text are all my own.

Where To Eat on the Las Vegas Strip

Where To Eat on the Las Vegas Strip – pizza to filets and everything in between. Our favorite places to eat in Las Vegas. Catch, Eataly, Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, Carmine’s, The Pub, Mastro’s Ocean Club, Five50 Pizza Bar, Carbone, Bobby’s Burger Palace. #vegas #travel #lasvegas

Today I am sharing all about our most recent trip to Las Vegas. We went out to Vegas for Chicken Legs birthday. Vegas is his favorite place, so we always go for his birthday week.

We stayed at the Aria. All of our favorite restaurants are at the Aria, so it is the perfect location for us. We spent four nights in Vegas. We ate at several of our favorite restaurants and found a few great new places. We found a cocktail bar that you MUST go to! We also checked out the new Eataly location at the Park MGM. SO much good food! Too much good food! LOL! We had a blast!

Summer Travel Essentials

There are 3 things that I always take with me on my trips. A great pair of Louboutin heels, my professional grade hairdryer, and the NEW Pepto Bismol Liquicaps because I know these will all be required at some point. The hair dryer because hotel hair dryers are terrible, Louboutin’s for going to dinner and the Pepto Bismol because I overindulged at dinner. Not to mention the fact that the time change in Vegas does a number on my stomach too. We are typically eating dinner at 10:30 or 11:00pm in our home time zone. As you will see in this post, we try a great variety of food on our trips. Pepto Bismol has me covered for nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, and diarrhea????. The new Pepto Bismol Liquicaps are super easy to pack in my suitcase. They are small and lightweight! Gotta save room in the suitcase for any new shoes that might come home with me!

Catch – Las Vegas

flower wall at Catch in Las vegas
Catch has quickly become our favorite place in Vegas.
We’ve eaten here twice and absolutely LOVE it.
Both times we had reservations but decided to eat dinner at the bar.

Chicken Legs started with the Hellfire Roll.
Spicy Tuna Two Ways, Pear, Balsamic
He loved it,

I got a small order of the Chicken Bao Buns.
I love bao buns and these were great.
For our entree, we split the Filet.
10 oz. Kabayaki Butter, Tempura Nori Flakes, Wasabi Soy

We also got an order of Corn Skewers.
The Corn was topped with Kabayaki Brown Butter and Chives.
It was the BEST corn I’ve ever eaten. I was sad we only got one order. Next time we will get two orders of corn. I need to figure out how to recreate this corn at home. It was SO good!

We weren’t hungry, but I couldn’t pass up the #HITME dessert.
Liquid “Klondike,” Dulce de Leche Ice Cream, Brownie & Devil’s Food

O-M-G! Look at that!!!!
Catch is located in the lobby of the Aria.
It is incredibly beautiful and the food is seriously amazing!
I highly recommend coming here.

Eataly – Las Vegas

We were excited that Eataly opened in Las Vegas.
It is in the MGM Park hotel – the old Monte Carlo.
We walked over from the Aria for lunch.

We ate in the pizza/pasta restaurant.
I started with the Frose. YUM!

Next, we split the arancini – fried risotto balls.
They were good, but I wouldn’t get them again.

We split a pizza. It was delicious!
Next time we are going to try some of the food stands in the middle of the market.
They had lots of options – fish, pasta, meat & cheese trays.
I think this is a great addition to the Strip.

Vanderpump Cocktail Garden

This was my favorite place we had cocktails.
It is hands-down the most beautiful cocktail bar EVER.
The floral decor is up there with Catch.

Vanderpump Cocktail Lounge is located in Caesar’s Palace.
Right at the entrance to the Forum Shops.
We got here right when they opened at 4:00pm.

We were seated in the back bar area.

We started with some cocktails.
The English Garden
Hendrick’s Gin, Elderflower, Basil, Cucumber, Lemon & Lime, Black Pepper,
Lavender & Celery Bitters, Aquafaba
Please Her, Caesar!
Vanderpump Vodka, Rosé Champagne, Blackberry, Edlerflower, Lemon, Aquafaba

We ordered the Vanderpump Rosé Cake – Rosé infused sponge cake, strawberry buttercream

SO pretty and SO good!

Chicken Legs ordered another cocktail. He got the Cold Blooded – a Blood Orange Old Fashioned
Knob Creek Caesars Palace Barrel Select, Fresh Blood Orange, Angostura Bitters

We also got an order of the Grilled Steak Skewers with toasted sourdough, chili, lemon, pistachio-herb chimichurri. SO good!
I was shocked at how good everything was.
I really didn’t know what to expect from a reality star’s cocktail lounge.
I HIGHLY recommend Vanderpump Cocktail Lounge.
SUPER beautiful and super delicious!

Carmine’s – Las Vegas

We had a late night dinner at Carmine’s after going to Matt Franco’s Magic Show at The Linq.
The Matt Franco show is really good. Lots of amazing card tricks and it is suitable for the whole family.
The food at Carmine’s is served family style and the portions are HUGE.
If you sit in the bar, they offer smaller portions.
They also have a happy hour and late night menu with even cheaper prices.
We started with our favorite Spicy Scarpariello Wings.
Loaded with lemon, garlic, and red pepper.
They come with a yummy gorgonzola dipping sauce.

We also got a small order of Penne A La Vodka.
SO good!
We ordered some of the cheesy garlic bread. It was just OK.
I would recommend skipping the bread and just getting their standard bread basket.
Carmine’s is one of our favorite spots on the Strip.
It is located in the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace.
Good food, good cocktails, and great service.

What’s Always in my Purse

When we are in Vegas, we leave our hotel room in the morning and may not come back until it is time to change for dinner. I have to have all of my essentials in my purse. My MUST haves are my phone, phone charger, headphones, camera, ring light (for dark restaurants), and my Pepto Bismol Liquicaps. We are always trying new restaurants and new foods, so I never know what might trigger the onset of an upset stomach. I like to take the Pepto Bismol Liquicaps at the first sign of an upset stomach. I don’t want to risk it! Stomach issues in a public bathroom are not my thing. The new Pepto Bismol Liquicaps are super easy to carry in my purse. They are small and light. They have the same active ingredient (bismuth subsalicylate) as original Pepto Bismol, and I don’t have to carry around a large bottle in my purse all day.

The Pub – Aria Resort & Casino

We did a little shopping at Crystals and then stopped in at The Pub for lunch.
We ate here a long time ago when Todd English was associated with it.
We did Happy Hour here on our last trip, but we haven’t eaten here since they redid the menu.
We started with the Crispy Mozzarella.
It was really good! Tasted like chicken parm without the chicken.
Really good crispy coating and super cheesy.

Next, we split the chili cheese fries.
The chili was a brisket chili and really good!
We ate way too many of these!

Finally, we split the Pub Burger with onion rings.
Y’all – this was SO good! We were shocked!
I would 100% eat here again. Everything was delicious.

Mastro’s Ocean Club – Las Vegas

We discovered Mastro’s Ocean Club on our last trip to Las Vegas.
We had a gift certificate, so we ate here again on this trip.
The bread basket is off the charts delicious! Those pretzel rolls – YUM!

Chicken Legs started with the Caesar Salad.

I got a crab cake. It was HUGE and delicious!
We both got a steak. I got the filet – SO good!

Chicken Legs got the sauteed mushrooms.

I love these skinny fries!

I got a side of the scalloped potatoes.
They are AMAZING! I dream of these potatoes.

Mastro’s is located in The Shops at Crystals.
It is right across from Tiffany & Co.
We didn’t have a reservation. We just grabbed a table in the bar.
The food is fantastic! One of the best steakhouses we’ve eaten at.

Five50 Pizza Bar

Five50 Pizza Bar is located next to the Sports Book in the Aria.
You can either grab a couple of slices at the front or sit at a table and order from the full menu.
We sat at a table this time.
We started with the garlic knots. They are tiny and delicious.

We shared the Gotham Pizza.
Pepperoni, Sausage, Salami, Mozzarella, Grana Padano
The pizza is really good. I think it is better than Eataly.
FIve50 also serves sandwiches, salads, mozzarella and meats, and milkshakes.

Carbone – Las Vegas

Carbone is always a MUST on our Vegas trips.
We absolutely love it.
We started with the fresh mozzarella and prosciutto.
There are three different types of prosciutto – sweet, smoky, and salty.

Next up, tableside prepared Caesar salad.
Chicken Legs added the anchovies.

For entrees, Chicken Legs got the Veal Parmesan. It looks amazing.

I got the Spicy Rigatoni Pasta. It is my absolute favorite.
I want to eat this pasta every single day.

I also got a couple of meatballs.
They aren’t on the menu, but all you have to do is ask for them.
We were way too stuffed for dessert.
Carbone has a great atmosphere. We always sit in the front of the restaurant. It is very lively!
They play great music and the service is top-notch.
It is always a treat to eat at Carbone.

Bobby’s Burger Palace – Las Vegas

Our last meal in Vegas was at Bobby’s Burger Palace.
We sat at the bar this time.
The bartender was super nice and gave us some good roulette tips. LOL!
Chicken Legs got Bobby’s Secret Burger.
Burger topped with chipotle ketchup, coleslaw, American cheese, roasted chiles, and potato chips.

We got an order of half french fries and half onion rings.

The onion rings were really good.
If you haven’t tried them, get them next time!

I got my standard – the Bacon Crunch Burger.
Hamburger with American cheese, bacon, and potato chips.
The burgers are SO good and are cooked to perfection.
We asked for medium and they were cooked medium.

Since this was our only meal of the day, we split the Mint Chocolate Shake.
SO good!
Bobby’s Burger Palace is located right outside of the Aria/City Center on The Strip.
We walked down from the Aria.

Carry-on Convenience

Rule of thumb, when we travel anywhere, is to not be too excessive the night before we leave. We had a late checkout and really late flight home from Vegas this trip. We had to eat lunch before our flight. We ate burgers, onion rings, and a milkshake. That was a pretty heavy lunch. We don’t typically eat this much or leave this late to come home so we both took a dose of Pepto Bismol Liquicaps.  We wanted to avoid any potential stomach issues on the plane.  You know the old saying, “better safe than sorry” in an airplane bathroom.
I love packing the Pepto Bismol Liquicaps because they are so convenient for travel. They can go in my carryon and are easy to carry in my purse. We are headed to the beach next. You can bet I will pack some Pepto Bismol for a worry-free trip!
As always, use Pepto Bismol Liquicaps as directed and keep out of the reach of children.
What are your favorite places to eat in Vegas?
We need ideas for new places to try on our next trip!

  1. No offense, but your heartburn, upset stomach and nausea isn't from eating too much. It's because you're eating foods made from grains (sprayed with Round Up-yum!), all fried in industrial seed oils, which is super inflammatory, hormone-disrupting and gut destroying (not to mention the damage it's doing to your brain).

  2. I'm going to Vegas next week so your timing is perfect! You have got to try Giada, CUT, and the Burger Bar.

    1. We almost went to CUT on this trip, but someone gave us a gift card to Mastro's. We really need to try Giada's next time too. Adding them to the list.

  3. Wow all that food looks so delicious. Great pics, thanks for sharing. Now I'm hungry lol. Good idea about the Pepto, I should remember that next time I go out to eat because I'm the same way.

    1. The new liquicaps are great for traveling! Just pop a few in your purse – just in case!
I was SO hungry writing this post – I want to book another trip back ASAP!

    2. Hi quick question did any of these restaurants or bars have dress codes? I’m going to Vegas next month and I’m really worried about what to wear to these different places

      1. They really don’t. I’ve been to Catch in super casual clothes after walking around all day and they didn’t bat an eye. We usually just wear nice casual/business casual. Jeans are fine everywhere we’ve been.
