Pin This RecipeThis recipe was inspired by my friend Joan. When I posted my recipe for Bubble Up Pizza she emailed me and told me she was going to try it – with a few changes. Her family doesn’t like red sauce (I can’t even imagine), so she was going to use shrimp and alfredo instead. I loved the alfredo idea, but I don’t do shrimp (not a seafood person). I opted for a sausage and pepperoni alfredo pizza. YUM!
This pizza casserole is very easy to make. Start with a can of refrigerated biscuits. Cut them into bite-sized pieces. Toss the biscuits with Alfredo sauce, cheese, and your choice of pizza toppings. Spread the biscuit mixture into a baking dish and bake.
Make sure to spread the biscuits evenly in the pan. You may need to push them around to make sure they aren’t all clumped together. This will help the biscuits cook evenly.
This White Bubble Up Pizza turned out great. I’ve also made this pizza with spinach, chicken, and mushrooms. You can add any pizza toppings that you and your family prefer. If you like it, it will taste great. We usually serve this casserole with a simple salad and some breadsticks. Made this again yesterday for lunch. It's still one of our favorites! I have pics on my Google+ page.
Is the chicken raw or cooked when you mix it all together?
Do you think this would freeze well?
This turned out excellent, although I chose to omit the mushrooms. I like the Bertolli alfredo sauce.
I have never found a jarred Alfredo sauce I like. Which do you use
Ok, I made it last night with the turkey pepperonis and it was to die for! very yummy! I do think it would be great with the chicken too but the pepperoni gave it a great flavor. I did 4 servings of turkey pepperonis and tore them up…and mixed them in
I'm going to try this but will be adding Jalapenos, onions and red peppers.
I am going to try this tonight but instead of using chicken, use turkey pepperonis…
Very good and super easy. I saute'd my mushrooms instead of adding them raw. This is a keeper of a recipe!!
Thanks for sharing it.
I think you meant that you WOULDN'T turn it down. 🙂 I've made the regular bubble up pizza and the bubble up enchilada recipes and really enjoyed them. I found them on another blog though, but the recipe and directions appear identical.
I like white sauce pizzas but haven't ever tried one of the casserole style ones with it.
We do luv seafood. Funny, I've never had a shrimp pizza before.
Sounds good!
