Spaghetti Rice Recipe - homemade meat sauce tossed with rice instead of pasta. Italian sausage or hamburger, tomato sauce, garlic, onions, Italian spices and rice. Ready in about 15 minutes and naturally gluten free! We LOVED this!!
Brown the meat in a skillet and drain off fat. Return the meat to the skillet; add the Italian seasoning, garlic, onion flakes, and water, mix and simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in the tomato sauce and rice. Heat in a skillet for 5 -10 minutes, until heated through.
Top with parmesan or mozzarella cheese, if desired.
Notes:
Use more or less rice depending on how saucy you want it
