Ritz Carlton Sticky Buns - got the recipe directly from the pastry chef that created the recipe in Amelia Island, FL. These are AMAZING and super easy to make. Frozen cinnamon roll dough, brown sugar, butter, honey, corn syrup, vanilla, and chopped pecans. Great for breakfast, brunch, and holiday mornings. 1(36.5-oz)package frozen cinnamon roll dough (12-count)
Instructions:
In the bowl of an electric stand mixer, mix together butter and brown sugar until smooth. Mix in the honey, corn syrup, and vanilla on low-medium speed.
Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Spread brown sugar mixture in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. Place cinnamon rolls on top of pecans.
Cover with plastic wrap sprayed with cooking spray and let rise until double in size, 3 to 5 hours.
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Carefully remove plastic wrap and bake sticky buns 15 to 20 minutes, until light brown.
Invert pan on a platter to serve.
Notes:
I used a bag of frozen Rhode's Cinnamon Rolls. Make sure to buy unbaked cinnamon roll dough and not prebaked/premade frozen cinnamon rolls.Can use light or dark corn syrup.To have Sticky Buns in the morning for breakfast, prepare through step 2. Cover pan with plastic wrap sprayed with cooking spray. Place the pan in the refrigerator overnight or all day long. When you’re ready to begin baking, take the pan out of the refrigerator. Make sure dough is double in size. You may need to let the product continue to rise slightly at room temperature.
