Crock Pot Creamed Corn Recipe – Corn, cream cheese, heavy cream, milk, bacon and green onions. YUM! It is super creamy with a hint of smokiness from the bacon. This recipe makes a lot and would be great for a potluck. This is seriously THE BEST corn recipe! I could have made a meal out of this! SO good! A must for your Thanksgiving menu!
Combine all ingredients except green onions in slow cooker.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours. Garnish with sliced green onions.
Notes:
I use white corn kernels- Silver Queen Corn.
You can use any frozen corn in this dish.
There is no need to thaw the corn before adding it to the slow cooker.
Can I use fresh corn? Yes! Fresh corn works great in this recipe.
Can I use canned corn? Sure! I prefer fresh or frozen corn, but canned corn is fine.
I use precooked bacon pieces inthis dish. It is a huge timesaver.
Can substitute turkey bacon for reduced calories.

Can I make creamed corn on the stove top? Yes. Add the ingredients to a large skillet. Cook over medium-low heat until the corn is tender and the sauce has thickened.
